1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on AscentPassport, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use AscentPassport. By using the platform, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Employee Accounts

Employees may create one account per national identity number (PAN/SSN). Providing false employment information is a violation of these terms and may result in permanent account suspension. Verified records cannot be altered after HR confirmation.

4. Employer Accounts

Employers may purchase credits to verify candidates and unlock passports. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Employers must not share verification reports with third parties without candidate consent.

5. Credits

Credits are purchased on a prepaid basis and do not expire. Credits are non-transferable between employer accounts. The platform may change credit costs with 30 days notice. Credits earned through HR verification may be subject to different terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Provide false employment information
• Attempt to manipulate AI verification results
• Access another user's account without authorisation
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape or bulk-export verification data
• Reverse engineer or tamper with AI agents

7. Limitation of Liability

AscentPassport provides verification services on a best-efforts basis. AP scores are indicators, not guarantees. We are not liable for hiring decisions made based on verification reports. Our maximum liability is limited to the credits paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
